Ticketbörse FAQ

How does a ticket sale via the re-sell market work?

Selling via our Ticket Exchange is the easiest and most secure way to pass on your tickets. You decide for yourself which and how many tickets from your order you would like to sell.

How the process works:
1. Add Tickets:
Select the option "Sell my tickets" for the relevant event and enter your order number and the email address used to purchase the tickets.

2. Data Verification:
The system checks whether the details match your order. If everything is correct, you will receive an email with a link to create your listing.

3. Publish Listing:
You set the selling price and the duration of the offer, and select which tickets you want to sell. Your offer will then appear on the Ticket Exchange and can be purchased directly in the shop just like a regular ticket – the process for the buyer is identical.

4. Sale:
As soon as one of your tickets is sold, you will be automatically notified via email. The original ticket will be cancelled, and the buyer will receive a new, valid ticket with its own unique Ticket ID.

5. Completion & Payout:
Once all tickets are sold or the listing duration ends, your offer will close automatically and you will receive a confirmation email. The sales proceeds will then be automatically refunded to your original payment method within two working days. You will receive another short email as soon as the payout has been processed.

I can’t attend the event – how do I sell my tickets?

If you have purchased tickets but are unable to attend, you can easily resell them via the Ticket Exchange. Simply follow these steps:
1. Click on "Buy or sell tickets securely" for the relevant event.
2. Select "Sell my tickets".
3. Enter your order number and the email address used at the time of purchase.
4. If the details are correct, you will receive an email with a personal link. Click on this link to create your listing.
5. Set the selling price and the duration of the offer, and select which tickets you want to sell.
6. Publish the offer – it will then appear on the Ticket Exchange and can be purchased directly in the shop just like a regular ticket.

Is this the only way to resell tickets?

Yes. Our Ticket Exchange is the official resale channel. Only here can you be sure that tickets bought and sold are valid and guarantee entry to the event.
Selling through other platforms (e.g., Ricardo, eBay, Viagogo, TicketSwap, etc.) is not permitted and carries high risks – especially overpriced or counterfeit tickets.

Are my name or email address publicly visible?

No. The resale is completely anonymous. No personal data will be published or passed on to buyers. Only we, as the organizer, can see your data in order to process the sale.

Can I change my listing later on?

Yes, as long as the ticket has not been sold yet or is not currently in a buyer's shopping cart.

Follow these steps:
1. Open the email with the subject line "Listing successfully published" and click on "Manage listing".
2. Select "Edit listing".
3. Make your changes and save them.

Can I delete my listing?

Yes, as long as the tickets have not been sold or are not in a shopping cart.

How to proceed:
1. Open the email with the subject line "Listing successfully published" and click on "Manage listing".
2. Click on "Delete listing".
3. Confirm by clicking OK.

Can I sell multiple tickets?

Yes, you can sell multiple tickets. You can either list all the tickets in a single offer or create a separate offer for each individual ticket.

What prices can I sell the tickets for?

You set the price for the tickets yourself. The only restrictions are the minimum and maximum sale prices.

  • The minimum sale price for the tickets is the service fee.
  • The maximum sale price is the ticket purchase price plus the service fee.

What is the service fee for?

The service fee covers the costs of the new transaction and the refund via your original payment method.

Can I sell personalized tickets?

Yes. Personalized tickets can also be sold via the Ticket Exchange. After the sale, the original tickets are automatically cancelled, and the buyer must personalize the new tickets themselves.

I am having issues buying or selling via the Ticket Exchange.

Please contact if you have any questions or problems.

I’m not receiving the email with the link to sell my tickets.

  • Check your spam folder.
  • Check whether your order number and email address are correct.
  • Make sure you have selected the correct event.
If you still do not receive an email despite providing the correct details, please contact us at .

Can I create a private sales link?

No, that is not possible.
This restriction prevents the black market and resale at inflated prices.

If you would like to pass on tickets to acquaintances (if they are non-personalized), you can do so outside of the Ticket Exchange.

However, never buy tickets via third-party platforms or from strangers – these are usually fraudulent offers with counterfeit or invalid tickets.

When will I receive my money?

After your listing has closed, the sales proceeds (minus the service fee) will be automatically refunded to your original payment method within two working days.
Depending on the payment provider (e.g., VISA, Mastercard, TWINT), it may take a few additional days for the credit to appear.
If the money has not arrived after five working days, please contact .

I can't find the email to list my tickets anymore.
